Nancy McGee began with the Alliance (then known as the Grant Information Center) in 1992 as Associate Director and was appointed Executive Director in 1995. She has over twenty-five years of experience in working with public and private nonprofit organizations in the areas of organizational development, planning, collaboration, and securing and managing grants. She has a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and a Masters in Public Administration. Nancy is responsible for providing direction to and leadership in the achievement of the Alliance's vision, mission, strategic goals and objectives.
Fayre Crossley joined the Alliance (then known as The Grant Center) in January 2001 as Associate Director. She served as a grant writer and Director of Foundations for a local healthcare foundation for seven years, and worked several years as a marketing manager/director in both the nonprofit and corporate sectors. She has a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy and American History and a Masters of Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing. Fayre is responsible for the overall operation of the The Grant Center at the Alliance, including overseeing research, development, and management activities. She screens and certifies freelance consultants as contractors for The Grant Center and serves as a liaison between consultants and organizations receiving grant development assistance.
April DeBerry Carter joined the Alliance in May 2006. For several years, she has volunteered and worked with many nonprofit organizations in the Mid-South. Led by her passion for youth development, she has assisted several local churches and community organizations with coordinating and implementing various nonprofit youth programs. April serves as the right hand to the CEO. She is responsible for overseeing membership development and marketing and communications. She also assists in coordinating the logistics of the 501(c)ollege and manages the day to day activities of the Alliance office.
Samantha Noel joined the Alliance as a volunteer in January 2009. She has since joined as Training Manager where she offers more than a decade of accomplishment-laden experience in communications, marketing, advertising, event planning, fundraising, and brand development. A graduate of Texas Tech University, Samantha holds a Bachelor of Communications with a minor in French. As a person who is dedicated to social change, she serves as a committed resource focused on the Alliance's mission: To strengthen organizations that meet community needs.
