Program for Nonprofit Excellence
The Alliance is home to the Program for Nonprofit Excellence (PNE), a nationally recognized initiative that transforms participating nonprofits into high-performance organizations through a rigorous multi-year curriculum. Our PNE consultants have years of experience in change management. They act as facilitators, guides, confidants, and coaches as organizations embark on this significant change process.
Since it was started in 2003, PNE has helped over 25 nonprofits dramatically increase their effectiveness and their impact. View graduates and participants of PNE.
Organizations are selected for the program through a competitive application process. Key program components include:
- An organizational assessment
- One-on-one consulting
- Professional development series
- Peer networking for executive directors, emerging leaders, and board chairs
- Organizational portfolio
The Alliance subsidizes between 65 to 75% of PNE program expenses. Participating nonprofits contribute a financial match based on the size of their annual budgets. View the PNE RFP.
