The Alliance for Nonprofit Excellence offers a unique approach to consulting with your organization. We strongly believe that consultants should provide all the support you need to strengthen your organization, resolve your problems, and help you address your challenges. Consultants should leave you with the knowledge and skills required to approach future issues on your own. Simply dealing with an immediate issue creates only limited value for an organization. The Alliance is committed to delivering lasting results and transforming organizations.

• The Alliance actively manages each consulting engagement to make certain that your needs are fully met.
• We begin by working with you to assess the situation, agree on deliverables, and project completion dates.
• We offer competitive fees, based on our knowledge of the Mid-South market.
• We give you an opportunity to interview consultants from our screened pool and choose the one who is most compatible with your needs and fits your organizational culture and personal style.
• We manage the project and respond to your needs by overseeing the consultant and/or supplying additional consultants with deep functional expertise when appropriate.
• We follow-up after completion to make sure that your organization is satisfied with the results.
• Our consultants are experienced in organizational development, understand systems theory, and also have specific areas of expertise. They participate in ongoing training that enhances their skills and knowledge of the nonprofit sector.

Consulting Areas

The Alliance begins each engagement with an organizational assessment, which establishes a common understanding among key stakeholders about the history, status and future challenges of the organization. It also helps to define the nature of the consulting work.
