The Alliance for Nonprofit Excellence advocates on issues that affect the Mid-South nonprofit sector. We also help Member nonprofits increase their capacity to advocate for their causes. |
The Alliance has been studying the impact of the economic crisis on local organizations. In July 2009, it published “Downstream and in Demand: Mid-South Nonprofits and the Economic Crisis.” September 2010, it released “Downstream and in Demand II: Another Look at Mid-South Nonprofits and the Economic Crisis,” which highlights what has changed over the last year and provides an updated snapshot of the local sector as it struggles with continued revenue losses and growing demands.
